Michael L. Hastings was the 2003-2004 President of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Michael L. Hastings was born in Huntington Park, California on April 29, 1944. He was admitted to Florida Bar in 1969 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1976.
